Ayiti - As a Haitian American, it goes without saying that I'd have a Haiti inspired soap in this collection. This intoxicating fresh green blend of oakmoss, succlence and aromatic arugula will instantly transport you to the first Black Republic!
This bar also has a healthy amount of Haitian Castor Oil (also known as Lwil Maskriti), a natural humectant.
Ayiti (also known as Haiti) means mountainous land. Each mountains layer represents the many mountains that my ancestors climbed before me. This soap is one of inspiration and strength.
Saponified oils of Coconut, Olive, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Haitian Castor. Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Alkanet Root Powder, Annatto Powder, Fragrance Oils
Haitian Castor Oil (Lwil Maskriti) is high in vitamin E, minerals, proteins, omega 6, and other beneficial fatty acids including ricinoleic acid which plays a key role in drawing moisture to the skin. I have yet to meet a Haitian that doesn't have a bottle or two of this cultural staple in their home.
