This is the worn blue jeans just-off-the-line member of the salt soap family. Comforting, familiar and deeply personal. Indigo, spearmint, juniper berry, geranium, litsea, ginger form a scent that elevates the mind and soothes the soul.
Here's a fun fact: the salt used in this soap is from Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, the world's largest salt flat. Some say that Uyuni is where Heaven meets Earth. My husband and I traveled there for our honeymoon, and I have to say that I agree. It's one of the most breathtakingly beautiful sights I've ever seen.
Saponified oils of Coconut, Almond, and Haitian Castor, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Titanium Dioxide, Indigo Powder, Salar de Uyuni Salt (Sea Salt), Essential Oil
Haitian Castor Oil (Lwil Maskriti) is high in vitamin E, minerals, proteins, omega 6, and other beneficial fatty acids including ricinoleic acid which plays a key role in drawing moisture to the skin. I have yet to meet a Haitian that doesn't have a bottle or two of this cultural staple in their home.
