This trio is inspired by some of the beautiful afternoon nature walks I've had with my mother over the years. Like the song says, we stop and smell the roses (and just about any other interesting plant along the way!). We haven't had one of these strolls in a while, but the memories in my heart carry me through.
Cactus Soirée - I was born in New Hampshire where is no outdoor cactus life. When I was a teenager, we moved to California which is one big cacti festival. This gorgeous soap is scented with notes of vetiver, violet, and bergamot. Ground apricot seed is added to bring a little exfoliation to the skin. A festival indeed.
Lily Pad Pond - The rich colors of this bar are serene and comforting - calm on the surface and exciting below, like a koi pond on a warm spring day. This soap is scented with notes of white lily, violet, vanilla and cherry blossom (if you're wondering, there's no koi scent).
In Bloom - This one turns heads wherever she goes. The soft white and orange accents are stylish and self assured but it's the delicate scent of passionflower, basil and aloe that tells you this bar is definitely In Bloom and ready to roll.
Saponified oils of Coconut, Olive, Rice Bran and Haitian Castor, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Carrot Juice, Indigo Powder, Mica, Ground Apricot Seed Powder, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance Oils
Haitian Castor Oil (Lwil Maskriti) is high in vitamin E, minerals, proteins, omega 6, and other beneficial fatty acids including ricinoleic acid which plays a key role in drawing moisture to the skin. I have yet to meet a Haitian that doesn't have a bottle or two of this cultural staple in their home.
